YOUTH AMERICA GRAND PRIX

CBA participates in the Youth America Grand Prix Regional Competition. YAGP is the world’s largest student ballet scholarship competition. YAGP’s mission is to provide extraordinary educational and professional opportunities to young dancers, acting as a stepping-stone to a professional dance career. It aims to fulfill it’s mission by offering educational opportunities for dance students around the world, opportunity to receive contracts to dance companies worldwide, scholarships to leading dance schools in the U.S. and abroad, invaluable professional exposure to world-renowned dance professionals, performance opportunities on some of the world’s most prestigious stages and dance festivals around the world. All participants are awarded workshop opportunities with the renowned master teachers and judges of the competition.

Dancers from CBA audition for the opportunity to represent CBA at this prestigious dance competition. Dancers (and families) are asked to make substantial time and financial commitments in order to participate. Past participants have earned scholarships and were awarded distinguished recognition.
