Adult Open Ballet, Adult Open Contemporary/Jazz

The Adult Program at CBA is composed of classes that offer individualized instruction and valuable exercise opportunities for all students. Adult students at CBA have enjoyed the benefits of dance training, such as renewed confidence, physical and mental stamina, muscular rejuvenation, and a support network of peers working toward goals and encouraging one another.

Adult Open Beginning Ballet: If you are trying ballet for the first time or are returning to ballet after many years away, this class is for you. Class begins with a basic barre and then moves to center and across the floor in a supportive environment with modifiable movements.

Adult Open Intermediate Ballet: Join other adults in this supportive, inclusive environment. This ballet class will get you moving, improve your technique, increase your stamina, and allow you to develop your artistry.

Adult Open Intermediate/Advanced Ballet: These classes focus on advanced barre work, center exercises, across the floor combinations, pointe work and ballet variations. Students learn advanced technique, while emphasizing musicality, discipline, and professionalism.

Adult Open Contemporary/Jazz: These classes combine jazz and contemporary technique fundamentals to have fun and help develop individual artistry. Contemporary/Jazz focuses on building self-confidence and strength while learning new choreography and technical terminology. Dancers will turn, jump, stretch, and be expressive in this exciting new class offering.
