MODERN

Modern classes at CBA focus on different movement concepts, building strength and flexibility, and developing improvisational and compositional skills. It emphasizes inner expression and artistic communication through movement. Our classes draw inspiration from various forms and techniques. Key styles include Graham technique, Cunningham technique, Horton technique, Limón technique, release technique, and post-modern approaches. Our staff works to assist each student in pinpointing movement that resonates within their bodies and explore what interests them artistically. This practice will additionally be used as a way to develop composition and choreography.
